Fit & Sizing
Q: How do I choose the right size?
A: Each product page includes a detailed size chart and fit notes (e.g. “muscle-fit compression”). Measure your chest (fullest point), waist, and torso length, then compare against the chart. If you’re between sizes, size up for comfort or size down for a tighter, competition-ready fit.
Because all sales are final, customers are responsible for selecting the correct size. If you’re unsure, contact us before purchasing.
Q: Can I size up if I prefer a looser fit?
A: Yes. Our gear is engineered for performance and compression, but sizing up can provide a more relaxed feel. Keep in mind that a closer fit improves mobility, reduces fabric drag, and aligns with competition standards.
Q: Do Tesshin products shrink in the wash?
A: Our fabrics are pre-shrunk and engineered to retain shape with proper care. When washed according to our care instructions, significant shrinkage should not occur.

Q: What does “sublimated print” mean?
A: Sublimation infuses dye directly into the fabric fibers rather than printing on the surface. This means designs are long-lasting and resistant to peeling or cracking with proper care.
Q: Are seams and stress points reinforced?
A: Yes. High-stress areas are reinforced with durable stitching and construction methods designed to handle the demands of grappling and competition.
Q: Are your rashguards competition legal (IBJJF / ADCC)?
A: Our gear is designed with IBJJF and ADCC standards in mind. However, rules—especially color requirements—vary by division and event. Please check individual product listings and current competition regulations before competing.

Q: How should I wash my gear?
A: Following the instructions below will help preserve fit, stretch, and print quality.
- Hand wash cold for best results, or machine wash cold on a gentle cycle
- Wash inside-out with like colors
- Do not use bleach or fabric softeners
- Do not iron or dry clean
- Hang dry recommended
Q: Will colors fade or fabric pill?
A: Our fabrics and sublimation process are designed to resist fading and pilling with proper care. As with all performance apparel, longevity depends on usage intensity and maintenance.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

A: All Tesshin sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for any reason, including incorrect sizing, change of mind, or preference-based dissatisfaction.

Q: My item arrived damaged or defective — what should I do?
A: While rare, if your item arrives with a verified manufacturing defect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery (or as soon as reasonably possible) with your order number and clear photos or video. Damage caused by training wear, misuse, washing, or normal abrasion is not considered a defect.

A: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tesshin does not offer warranties beyond those required by applicable consumer protection laws. Product lifespan depends on usage conditions, training intensity, and proper care.
